First Notice Representative - Part Time Interview

      Apr 29, 2014
      Anonymous interview candidate
      West Trenton, NJ
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at NJM Insurance (West Trenton, NJ) in Mar 2014

      Interview

I applied online and was contacted for an initial phone screening. After the phone screening I was asked to come in for an in person interview. I met with a recruiter and took a typing speed test. After that I was contacted for a second interview. The second interview was with a hiring manager and what seemed to be someone in training. The interview felt much more like an interrogation versus an actual interview. The woman who interviewd me was rude and unprofessional. After that I was told I would hear back soon. Weeks passed and I didn't hear a thing so I emailed the hiring manager and never heard back, after another week passed I called the office and was told someone would call me right back. No one got back to me. Finally weeks after that I was told that I was still being considered and they would let me know if my status changed. I have never been through such an unprofessional hiring process. Everything from their demeanor to the decision was handled poorly. Even if offered the position I would decline since they don't even have their HR staff together.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Every question for the second interview was geared more towards an interrogation instead of a typical interview where they want to hear about your experience.
