I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Mural Oncology (Waltham, MA) in Aug 2024
Interview
The interview process was very fast. I met first with the hiring manager. He asked me a lot of questions, and I answered them directly. He was nice and tried to understand if I was a good fit for the position and the team. Then I went to meet 6 people from the team.
I applied online. I interviewed at Mural Oncology (Waltham, MA) in Sep 2024
Interview
I applied for the Director, Talent Acquisition role at Mural Oncology via LinkedIn. About a week later, I had a video interview with the VP of Human Resources. The conversation lasted approximately 50 minutes, and I found it engaging. I was very interested in the role and the company.
At the end of the interview, the VP mentioned that he was still speaking with other candidates and would provide an update the following week. However, I never received any follow-up communication—no update or rejection email.
While I understand hiring processes can be busy, clear communication is important in providing a positive candidate experience. A simple update would have been appreciated. I hope Mural Oncology continues to refine its process to ensure candidates remain engaged and informed.

Question 1
It’s been a few months since the interview, so I don’t recall specific questions. However, the discussion focused on my experience in Talent Acquisition, particularly in life sciences, and how I would approach recruiting strategies for a growing organization.
