Interview for Network engineer concentrated on network fundamentals like OSI layered model, DHCP dora process, ARP, VLANS, Subnetting and packet flow in networks. Based the role you would be placed they might also question on STP on switches and routing protocols.

Packet flow from a host to another host in different network
the interview process is not upto the standard. The culture is not appreciated its like a school monitoring with pin point to each course of action. I expected better but cant help.
