I cam in as a contractor, so it was pretty easy. I described my experience and showed samples from my portfolio. I talked to the hiring managed and the team lead.

Interview
First you have to schedule phone interview that lasts about 40 minutes. They ask you typical questions as well as technical ones. If you do well you get invitation to the second part which in my case was video interview (due to covid) and it did last about 2h. You talk with others technical writers for about an hour and later with the HR team.
2nd - interview with Technical writers team and thank HR team (+/- 2h)

Interview
The interview was fairly standard. It involved the department manager and a senior technical writer. They asked me questions about my background, education, work experience, technical skills, and of course writing skills. They wanted to make sure that I would be a good fit for the position.
