I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Mistral AI (Paris)
Interview
A joke. 3 minutes before the interview the recruiter sends an email saying that "a meeting is taking longer than expected we will have to reschedule our interview"
Zero respect, good thing I am not by any means desperate to get a job there, but I am sorry for the lack of professionalism and for people that are really into such sweatshops and in need for a new job.
The velocity of my particular role was intense and they clearly wanted me (which is flattering). TA were very responsive. That said quite a few of the people I interviewed with showed up late, which is disrespectful of the candidate's time. I also wasn't a big fan of the very intense pace and demands they talked about, and ultimately it came down to culture mismatch so I turned the opportunity down. This is the right company for someone who doesn't mind investing a lot of personal time to build their career, though. Also for the assessment they are really asking quite a lot and it feels like there are many interview stages that could be condensed for efficiency.
