I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Microsoft (Portland, OR) in Jan 2025
Interview
The position had just been posted, and I submitted my application within the first 24 hours. A couple of weeks later, a recruiter reached out to me via email to schedule an initial screening call. The screening was quick and straightforward.
After that, I received a few more emails to confirm the technical interview rounds. I had two long online interviews scheduled on the same day, during which I spoke with five different managers. The questions were fairly standard and closely related to the role. Toward the end, there were some "bonus challenge" questions, but even those were manageable.
Overall, it was a positive interview experience
