I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Microsoft (San Jose, San Jose) in Feb 2022
Interview
I really enjoy the process, it's really challenging, the only bad thing is that is really long. I took me around 3 months to complete it.
Steps:
1. Call with HR.
2. Three interviews in one day. (I got a positive feedback the next day)
4. They sent me the offer 3 weeks later
5. We negotiate the offer (they sent another offer 1 week later)
6. Background check (this took between 3-4 weeks)

Interviewed at Microsoft but I did not get an offer. Team was nice and there were free drinks and some snacks on site which was a plus. I would love to apply and interview again!

Interview
Typical behavioral interview process. STAR format style interview questions. Why do you want to work at Microsoft, tell me about a time questions, greatest strengths, greatest weaknesses. Consisted of a recruiter screening, and three back to back interviews with senior and principal PMs.
I applied online. I interviewed at Microsoft (Belgrade, Central Serbia) in Mar 2026
Interview
It was a level II and it was a great chat with the interviewer. More questions about my past experience, how I handled new features, change of requirements and my thoughts about AI replacing or writing code.
