I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Microsoft in Oct 2021
Interview
Recruiter reached out on LinkedIn and connected and moved me on to a 3 hour interview event which included a role play, competency interview, and technical interview. You are given a role play document a week before the interview to prepare a conversational presentation regarding whatever Microsoft product suite you are applying for. Although my presentation was neatly designed, I misinterpreted the purpose of the role play, and did not do so well. The technical and competency interviews just asked me about my experience, and any CRM/ERP knowledge as well as behavior questions, which I did really well on. However, I did not get the offer, and recruiter noted that they liked me but not for this role.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Microsoft (Dublin, Dublin)
Interview
Microsoft puts humans last in line.
Applied for job, and first interaction I had was with someone that collected details about my previous role and pay,
after that they wasted 4 MONTH to get nowhere, had 3 calls with them. All generic questions, and then no realy momentum.
Treated my time and efforts as if it was worthless.
