The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Microsoft (Redmond, WA) in Apr 2009
Interview
They start with a telephonic screening. The screening is just to make sure that you are the candidate thats been described in the resume, they ask about recent projects and basic ComSci fundamentals. Next was a telephonic interview. This interview was conducted by a recruiter and she asked details about my projects and some compsci questions and a coding problem. I was asked to reverse a linked list.
Then I was invited to on site interviews at Microsoft Redmond WA. I had 3 interviews and each interview consisted of a series of questions regarding my projects, some behavioral questions, some testing questions and one coding question.
