I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Mercer (Los Angeles, CA) in Sep 2008
Interview
I was initially recruiting on campus and had to go through multiple rounds of interviews. The first was behavioral on campus of which they chose 4 applicants to come to the office for 2nd round interviews. At the office I met 5 different senior level consultants who quizzed me on my knowledge of the industry and what health and benefits consultants actually do. The questions varied from typical consulting questions, out of the box thinking and situational analysis, predominantly relating to my team experience.

Interview
This was an online interview out of college. Very behavioral based questions. This consisted of video recordings with a limited number of takes allowed for each response. Nothing very technical was required
Simple 5 or 6 questions, half behavioural half industry related. 2 interviewers, both asked questions equally. Atmosphere was as expected, and somewhat friendly towards asking them questions, but I would say don’t ask more than 1.
