I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (Guwahati) in Dec 2017
Interview
I applied through college at 2 Dec 2017. The process took one day. Initially there was a written test, which involves the technical and aptitude questions. There were 30 questions for each section. The level of written test was average. They divided the mechanical students into two sections. One section is called Structural Section i which they include Machine Design and Computer Assisted Manufacturing branch students. Other section was Thermal section in which they involve Fluid & Thermal Engineering, Computational Mechanics, Aerodynamics and propulsion branch students. I was from Computer assisted manufacturing. So I was in Structural section.
After clearing the written test, there were two more rounds i.e. Technical interview and H.R interview. For me, T.R was around for 20 min. Those who qualify in T.R, only those students were called for H.R round. In all cases H.R round took more time (around 40 min) as compared to T.R.
