Interview was interesting. There is only one dev for the company and he and the president of the company both interviewed me. There were no real technical questions, just what seemed to be a real need for a developer ASAP. Was very casual- and might I say unprofessional, as the president took a call during my interview as well as my having to volunteer information about myself rather than be asked any questions. Again, I was just told their needs, aside from the 2 questions listed in this review. They were sure friendly enough, they even gave me a tour of the office, and I was told I wound be contacted by a certain day with their decision. By the time I left I realized that the politeness seemed a bit fake, and I was right. They did not follow up with me (which is fine, not everyone is a good fit) but if you say you will do something you should keep your word. Also, want to note, when I asked what they budgeted for the position- come to find the pay is low, and I was told by the pres they offer no benefits, and was warned there is a 90 day probationary period. Well Okayyy then...
They sure were very good at seeming nice and like a wonderful little company, but could use better techniques in getting to know the interviewee and could try being more professional and genuine.
