HR response quickly, very professional about feedback and questions. All the interviewer are professional, but the interview process could be stressful, especially dealing with the case part of the interview

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at McKinsey & Company (New Delhi)
Interview
The interview process was disappointing and did not meet expectations. I was informed to prepare for technical questions, so I spent considerable time preparing accordingly. However, the actual interview was largely a casual discussion about my background—where and why I pursued my B.Tech, how I got into the college (including my JEE rank), and my career motivations. Only around five minutes were spent discussing my actual skills and the unique value (USP) I bring in my current organization. There were no technical questions or case discussions, which made it hard to showcase my expertise.
Despite the positive tone of the conversation, I received a rejection without any clear reasoning or constructive feedback. The process felt opaque, lacking fairness and transparency, leaving candidates without any insight on how to improve for future opportunities. For a firm of McKinsey’s stature, I expected a more structured and skill-focused evaluation.
