I applied online. I interviewed at Marks & Spencer in Jul 2013
Interview
Made of 3 parts, role play, an analytical presentation and a competency based interview. The role play was a coaching exercise and was to do with how you would deal with an awkward employee who was older. The employee was refusing to work any extra hours and would only work on a particular department.
I interviewed at Marks & Spencer (London, England)
Interview
I did this back in 2015 it was a multiple stage interview. first telephone screening, online psychological and situational assessment with multiple choice options, in person group assessment, interview with store manager.

Marks and Spencer
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Marks & Spencer (Glasgow, Scotland)
Interview
Online assessment, video interview then assessment centre, assessment centre is tough, there is an analysis on a store and you’ve to present how you would improve it. A delivering feedback part where you have a conversation with an underperforming colleague, and a proper interview.
I am still waiting for feedback over 2 months after the assessment despite the store manager running the assessment centre promising we would all
Receive it. Pretty unprofessional if you ask me.
