I applied online and I got a call a day after to invite me for an interview the next morning. It was a group interview with very few questions and was very simple. We were asked to fill out a form about our availability, including any holidays planned (I requested 3 days off) and to tick whether you can work certain dates that you must be available for, I was available for all of them. The next morning I received a call saying I was offered a job. I asked to confirm whether I would receive the days off that I requested on the application form at the interview, they told me they would call me back, I never received a call back. So the next day I called and emailed to explain that I never got called back. I then received a call from a different recruiter that I was not given the job because I wasn't available my requested days. I have experience in the retail industry and I understand that you need to be available for black out days but I found the process very unprofessional, considering I was fully available everyday and time of the week and also for the non negotiable days they stated on the application form. I clearly stated the requested days I was not available before getting an offer and if I had not tried to confirm them on the call I would have gone in to work with this not cleared. Also the fact that I had to chase them for not calling me back after the offer call was ridiculous, I may not have heard anything back after getting an offer if I had not chased them.
