CTO reached out to me personally via email, and we scheduled an intro call with someone else. It seemed like I was not a great fit for the open position posted on their website (mid level eng), but the email referenced my specific experience from my resume, and they had closed recs which were a better fit (senior).
The person I was scheduled to talk to did not call at the scheduled time, but eventually rescheduled. At the end of a positive intro call, they said they would get back to me regarding some questions they were unable to answer. After that, nobody from the company ever followed up with me & I reached the limit of my patience. Pretty unprofessional.
