I was contacted directly by the HR (Aini) in May 2025 for a Scrum Master role. Right from the start, I clearly mentioned that I have a 60-day notice period, non-negotiable. Despite this, the HR proceeded with the process, scheduled two rounds of interviews, and dragged things on for nearly three weeks.
Then, complete silence.
No update, no rejection, not even a basic acknowledgment â just radio silence after I reconfirmed that my notice period couldnât be shortened. If the timeline was an issue, it shouldâve been addressed upfront instead of wasting my time and effort.
Whatâs frustrating isnât the rejection â itâs the lack of basic professionalism and courtesy. Ghosting candidates after multiple rounds is unacceptable and leaves a lasting negative impression of the company.
