I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Macy's (Los Angeles, CA) in Mar 2011
Interview
Met with one recruiter for behavioral questions. The recruiter seemed very friendly and really emphasized coaching, leadership, and communication skills. The second part of the interview consisted of analyzing a chart of fake employees' performance reviews and designing a mock conversation/decision to help improve the employee. Everyone seemed nice and interested in you, but be wary of their real view of you.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Macy's (Hampton, VA) in May 2011
Interview
Firstly, the hiring manger was not available for actual interview. Another HR associate did the interview. It was very impersonal , and she read off a sheet to ask interview questions.
After the interview was complete I realized I didn't actually want that position, and I later declined the offer because I don't think I would have enjoyed working for a company who conducts interviews as I stated.
