I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Maccreanor Lavington (London, England) in Jan 2025
Interview
At the beginning I was surprisingly told the interview will only last 30 minutes, half of which was used up by the interviewers for telling about the practice. I started off by telling about my role at my practice, to which the interviewers didn't listen, as they asked me the same question again. After I went through a couple of project from my portfolio, the interviews abruptly stopped the interview. When I told, to their request about my various responsibilities at the practice they seems disinterested. The interview was conducted online and as the interviewers were sat in a large room the sound was very bad and made the short interview even more difficult. I would recommend the practice to be more professional with their interview process and tell to prepare one or two projects to discuss as there won't be enough time to properly go through a portfolio. The general atmosphere was of disregard to the candidates time and efforts. No response was received.

Interview
I had a sit-down with one of the partners himself, who was very nice and relaxed. That gave the whole interview a more conversational tone, rather than mere processing of bodies. We talked through a portfolio of works, discussed my interests, went through some technical aspects, and that was it. All about verifying required qualifications for the role, but conducted tactfully and with respect.
