      Data Engineer Interview

      Oct 18, 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at METRO.digital in Aug 2022

      Interview

My first interview was with an external recruiter. I thought it went very well. Then I had an interview with a Product Manager. Then I waited for approx. one week for the coding challenge. The challenge was fair, but they said, there is no time restraint. Nevertheless, they asked me after one week, when I would submit the task. After working multiple hours across 3 -4 days on the task (the task was completed successfully, not fancy but working), I got ghosted and never heard anything from anybody. Fair if it did not meet their requirements, but getting GHOSTED is super uncool.

The introduction call was great. The HR has explained the job, a brief into about the job content, and the team composition. You are asked to give an introduction about your experience / projects. Dont have to be too technical on this round.
