I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at LinkedIn (Bengaluru) in Sep 2020
Interview
Excellent process, great panel - got all the information but were friendly and approachable. Had many, many rounds with senior folks and got to learn a lot about the company and the role in the process as well. Was a very well balanced process where both parties learnt about each other.

Interview
Bad candidate experience. I had an interview with the hiring manager and never heard back from the recruiter. I sent an follow up email and received no response or email letting me know I was no longer moving forward. LinkedIn should know and do better.

Interview
I was contacted by an executive recruiter for the opportunity and agreed to proceed with the interview process.
In hindsight, I made a big mistake as (1) the process dragged on for over 3 months despite being told by the hiring mgr it would be fast, (2) the interviews never followed the topics or themes the recruiting team said they would (3) interviews were not well structured, (4) the communication during the process was extremely reactive and required me to follow-up on status many times - eg not getting updates for over a week at a time, and (5) ultimately I was not provided any legitimate feedback as to why I was not extended an offer despite interviewing well and meeting the requirements for the position.
