The interview process was longer than expected, at times felt my recruiter had forgotten about my application.
Everyone I spoke to during the interviews was super friendly, interviews went really well but seem there was someone else more suitable for the role.

Question 1
Why LinkedIn? Why you? Tell me about a time you handle a difficult client?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at LinkedIn (Sydney) in May 2018
Interview
1. Recruiter Screen
2. Interview with Hiring Manager
3. Panel interview x 4 people (2 Sales, 2 Client Success) with a presentation which was provided with scenario a week in advance.
4. Interview with Senior Director
Initial recruiter screen was really great and one of your best employees (Claudia based in Singapore). We discussed salary and all required information.
Interview process was extremely long as it took 4 months. Initially started off really great, however as the process went on the responsiveness of the recruiters (3 in total throughout the period) started to diminish.
Mixed messaging throughout the process as was told that I was the top candidate but final call after chasing the recruiter was that I was too experienced. This should have been flagged by the recruiter before undergoing 4 months of an interview process and 4 rounds of interviews with 6 people ensued.

Question 1
Prepare a presentation based on a scenario type issue within the business and how you plan to address the issue.
Interviews were less formal with conversations about work experience and how you would deal with particular internal situations / market issues.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at LinkedIn in Feb 2022
Interview
Standard interview cycle (HR screener, line manager, skip level) and then wrapping up with a role play as the last stage. Nothing extraordinary apart from the case study which I felt was a little redundant.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at LinkedIn in Oct 2021
Interview
Recruiter contacted me. Had a video conference interview.
In only 10 minutes, she made a character analysis of me which was very weird how you can understand a character of a person in only 10 mins in a video call?
Gave me NO information about the role and the interview process only focused on why I want a change in my career.
I had several questions in the end, when I asked the first one, before answering, she told me sth like 'you have only one question which shows you have lack of motivation. ' I think she tried to read my mind and understood if I have any other questions or not.
Totally it was a weird experince.
