      Project Manager Interview

      Apr 21, 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Los Angeles, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Linea Solutions (Los Angeles, CA) in Jan 2025

      Interview

My interview experience was ultimately very disappointing and frustrating. The process began with my first interview on January 13th, followed by a second round on January 26th, and a final interview on February 6th. Each interview lasted approximately an hour, and in addition to these conversations, I was also required to complete a take-home assignment over a weekend. I invested a significant amount of time and effort into each stage of the process, including what appeared to be a very real, business-relevant assignment. After completing everything, I was told I would hear back within a couple of weeks. When I didn’t receive an update, I followed up on February 26th and was told that more information would be available soon. Then, on March 2nd, I received notice that the role had been put on hold. While I understand that business needs can change, the lack of timely communication and the extensive demands of the process—especially the required assignment—made this experience feel inconsiderate of candidates’ time. Given the nature of the work requested, it raised concerns about whether candidates were being asked to contribute real value without compensation. I was genuinely excited about this opportunity, but the overall experience came across as unprofessional and poorly managed. I hope the company reevaluates its hiring process to be more respectful of candidates’ time and effort in the future.
