Lil Sweet Treat interview questions

Elly herself could not describe the interview process. I presumed going into the interview that due to the start up nature of company, the process would be quick as I was meeting with the founder right off the bat, but when I asked Elly what the process would be, she seemed to not have a plan for that. She said “I will get back to you in a week.” And I said “about the process or about the role?” And she said “probably in the next week” which did not answer my question. She did not ever follow up and when I reached out, she said she closed the position due to developments (I presume they can’t afford to hire after opening their third store in under 6 months in another very expensive location.
