I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at LifeLabs (Toronto, ON) in Sep 2021
Interview
Spoke with a recruiter who coordinated the interview schedule. The interview was scheduled outside regular business hours. I was advised that the interview would be the equivalent of a dinner conversation, instead I was greeted with a sophisticated layout, studio microphones, and generally, an environment that seemed designed to intimidate. The way the questions were phrased seemed to indicate that the interview was being recorded without my knowledge. The interviewer would ask questions without engaging my answers or acknowledging basic conversation etiquette. This threw me off because I wasn't sure whether my answer had been received as intended.
