I had an interview booked in with the Chief of Staff for a Head of Growth role. Firstly the interview was only going to be 15 minutes - which I thought was strange as it really wouldn't be enough time to get into an applicant's experience. Then when I turned up for the call he didn't bother to show, with no notice given or subsequent email sent explaining the situation.
Instead I interviewed with a contractor who was currently in the role. When I found out this was the situation I should have ended the call then and there as it was clearly a conflict of interest.
Although the questions asked in interview were related to the position they were also super-detailed for a first round, and the focus seemed to be on model answers rather than a more general discussion of my experience.
I was never given any subsequent feedback from the company despite requesting it.
