      Android Developer Interview

      Aug 21, 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Toronto, ON
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at League (Toronto, ON) in Aug 2025

      Interview

Generally disappointing. Pros: no algorithms, skills check only. Cons: - testing task is too broad, not clear what to showcase. - architectural interview done by juniors who does not know how to ask questions. - interviewers clearly show that you are not the candidate #1. - manager was rude by the end of interview. Recommendation: go for interview just because of experience, but do not put any expectations. Recruiter told from the beginning of interview process that I obviously should not drop other offers! So, relax, and do not take this company seriously.

      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I interviewed at League (Toronto, ON)

      Interview

Screening call followed by take home 3-4 hours assessment, judging criteria’s are not clear following industry standard still got a rejection through email without any explanation which is understandable at certain extent but donating 4-5 hours of personnel time should not be the norm.

      Toronto, ON
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at League (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2026

      Interview

1 screening with HR, 1 technical interview with several questions 1 challenge exercise with an android app 1 challenge exercise with architecture design 1 cultural fit I passed the 99% of the process. I was rejected due to a subjective interpretation of a behavioral question made in the cultural fit. It's amazing. It seems they found another candidate cheaper but they won't admit it.
