I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Lash+Company Medical Spa (Lakewood, CO)
Interview
First interview was a personality check. Bashed other lash chains in the area but sounded okay enough to continue to second interview.
Second interview was with the owner & her husband/partner on the phone. They wanted me to take my current clients to them but were concerned I would take their clients to my private studio. Which is a fair statement but they do not offer the lash styles I offer.. Conflict of interest should have been mentioned on the first interview.
Also saying I was a beginner tech since I had under two years of experience… but I have my own shop at just under two years experience … At first she mentioned she hired new techs out of esti school because they train, but kept on going back & forth on what they were looking for. Partner kept asking how confident I was in my lashing abilities & kept on saying I lash from home, which I didn’t. Instead of saying things like that why not ask for portfolios of work or instagram to check said abilities.
They sound confused & it seems like they prey on esti’s fresh out of school for the opportunity to get into the world of lashing.
Next step would have been a practical. Would not recommend.
