During the entire process I dealt with 5(!) different HR people, none of whom provided any meaningful information or answered questions beyond scheduling next stages of the interview process. Initial screen was 30 minutes. Then, technical stage - 1 hour. Recruiter said it's going to be a technical conversation, but it was a live coding challenge. It was hard, but pretty well designed and carried out. Then, I was scheduled for two rounds one after another. Again, no information on what they would be or what to expect, emails to recruiter were unanswered. First was a weird mutation of a system design interview, where focus was not on architecture design, but on minute details of literal API request structure. I didn't get to do the second stage that day, because 45 minutes in, one of the interviewers went off camera and I started getting event cancellation emails shortly after. Mind you, I was STILL working on the first stage with them when they sent me a BS email about having to reschedule the 2nd stage, only to reject me the next day. It threw me off completely. My impression is: unprofessional, chaotic, amateurish process - the coding challenge being the only highlight.
