I first interviewed with the Sephora manager, then the store manager. Both interviews were super quick, and it was mostly sharing my experience (career and makeup wise) and my skills. I heard back in about 24 hours.

Interviewed despite employer already knowing I was a college student. Was told the position had already been filled and dismissed abruptly at the end. Communication and professionalism could have been handled better.

Quick, straightforward interview with friendly staff. Questions were easy and focused on customer service, availability, and basic beauty knowledge. The relaxed, supportive atmosphere made the entire process simple, smooth, and stress-free.

I applied online, and the next day, I received an email from Kohl's, which allowed me to select an interview day/time, which I did. However, the night before the interview, overnight (around 1am), I received an automated email stating that the interview (scheduled for later that day) was canceled.
