Video interview. No interaction just 30 seconds to read the question and 5 minutes to answer the question. Only 5 questions total. For only asking five questions in total and not even getting to meet a recruiter, I thought the questions were too vague and I wasn't able to sufficiently sell myself. Additionally, it was my first time virtually interviewing and I found it to be a lot more awkward than a face to face interview.

Describe the most desirable traits of your favorite mentor.
I applied online. I interviewed at Kohl's (Hixon, TN) in Sep 2024
Interview
Very simple and easy. It was a set up virtual interview with the store manager. He asked basic questions and told me to be there the next day for orientation
Very thorough interpersonal interview questions. Asked how you worked in a team and how well you can deal with conflict. Asked how you communicate with customers and how you can deal with difficult customers.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Kohl's (Chattanooga, TN) in Jan 2020
Interview
Overall a very nice and helpful staff. The interview was supposed to be a group interview but I was the only one to show up. So we got started later than I would have liked. The interviewer was laid back and easy to talk to. I would have accepted the job had it not been for the very low wage and the lack of opportunity to raise that wage.
