I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at KnowBe4 (Clearwater, FL) in Mar 2017
Interview
Applied through an employee reference. I was sent an email later that day and asked to explain why I would like to work there and something I'm most proud of. I then had a brief phone interview that seemed to go well and was asked to come in and take a few tests. The tests seemed simple enough. A couple timed IQ tests, a 200 question personality test with some weird questions. Some dealt with death and whether killing animals would bother you, which for me it would but I found out online by finding all the correct answers that they would not want it to bother you. And finally a google docs test to see if you can do the job. Im guessing I failed the personality test because after the tests I left and did not have a formal interview. I called a few days later and was told they would get back to me. I then received an email with the rejection. If you want to work here just look up Scientology personality test and IQ test and you can find the tests and the "correct" answers online.

Interview
Submitted app online a week later I got an email asking to submit a short response to something I'm proud of, got an email back about 3 days later asking for my availability to set up a phone interview. So I wrote back with availability for that week but didn't get a response until the next week so we had to do different availability for the next week. When I got the call I was asked standard interview questions and I was asked did I use "google suite" I said no I had never used it before and she moved on like it was just a normal question(Red flag #1) but then she set up an in person interview and sent out a personality test (200+)questions and then an IQ test but why would you set up an interview when I haven't taken the IQ or personality test (Red Flag #2) what if you interview me and I don’t have the right personality for the company? So I come to the "interview" and I have to take a test on guess what? google suite, the same system I said I had never used before. I tried to ask a question but was told it was something I "was already supposed to know how to do" in a system that I told her I didn’t know how to use before I even came. Then she checked it and said I had too many errors and that I wouldn’t be able to interview. This was very unprofessional and a waste of my time if you knew you wanted someone with prior experience in this system why would you bring me in?

The assessments we give prior to face to face interviews are not pass/fail which is why we set-up the interview before they have been completed.
We have had candidates without previous experience on GoogleSheets do very well on the Admin test you took while you were here.
We like to give our applicants a chance to show us what they are capable of doing. I am sorry you felt we wasted your time.
