I applied originally to this company back in the middle of fall semester 17. I received an email about 3 weeks ago to set up an interview with an HR representative. She was super nice and very professional, and didn't seem like the normal HR robot. I LOVED talking to her. She was very informative and asked me many questions on my preferences like what part of supply chain I was interested. You could be in materials management, or you could be in contracts. They ask you if you're okay with relocation I believe, but this is also Kiewit's culture, if you don't like moving, this might not be the company for you especially if you're an engineering or construction, supply chain major.
The first round interview went well, I had an interview with a materials manager last week. He covered all the details and was very knowledgeable. This company tells you a lot, I do not feel left in the dark at all and know exactly what to expect except where my project location will b. They do offer interns corporate housing so that is a huge perk. Everything was done over the phone, they send you an offer via email.
Great experience and look forward to interning with this company this summer.
