I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at John Lewis & Partners (London, England) in Sep 2015
Interview
Applied online, started by filling out a situational judgement test - multiple choice, easier than some others I've done as you can rank best to worst answers 1 - 5. Got called for a interview at the branch. It stars of as a group, you're all split into smaller groups depending on how many people are there. You are then presented with pack a particular type of product, for example a desk, but different kinds of desks. There will then be a range of customers with different needs for the desk. Through conversation with you group members you decide which desk would be best suited to that particular customer. The actual product you choose is irrelevant, what you will be judged on is how you interact with your group members, so speak confidently but at the same time be mindfully and listen to what others are saying, encourage good dialogue between you all. After the group interview there will be a standard one to one.
