I worked at John Lewis & Partners part-time

    Pros

Great perks, even as a student I got an annual bonus and great discount across John Lewis and Waitrose for me and a parent.

    Cons

Was very understaffed so they often expected too much of you, then would blame you if customers were getting upset because they'd had to wait too long.

    Advice to Management

Be more understanding, or hire more people

    Pros

Great company ethos and put Partners (staff) put heart of everything they do.

    Cons

Change can be slow as we use our demoncracy to engage with Partners
A lot of business change recently and the industry is struggling therefore opportunities to process are minuscule
