I applied online. I interviewed at Jazz Hands for Autism (Culver City, CA) in Dec 2023
Interview
Zoom interview with the Director. The interview lasted for 90 mins. She asked a considerable number of questions; some were basic interview questions, and some were an attempt to ask questions that were psychological in nature. A number of the questions were repetitive but in a different format..." why do you want to work for us?" and "How are you qualified for the position?" as well as situational questions. The interviewer actually excused herself in the middle of the interview, stating, "I need to go to the bathroom." After a while, I wanted out of the interview because it felt awkward and too probative. I sent the interviewer/director an email the next day, declining to move forward in the interview process. Based on the interview and the interviewer's disposition, I decided to work for the company as well as the position was not a good match for me.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Jazz Hands for Autism (Charlotte, NC) in Mar 2023
Interview
The interview process was pretty straightforward. After applying, I signed up for a time slot to interview. I met with one interviewer and it lasted about 20 minutes. The questions were mostly behavioral with some questions about the technology I had used in previous projects.
