I applied online. I interviewed at JLClosets (De Zoom) in Oct 2025
Interview
The process consisted of a Zoom call to conduct more surveys. The page where the survey was conducted was very unclear, and when you didn't pass a stage, they simply hung up the call. It was very rude. The type of surveys that have nothing to do with the position you're applying for, a waste of time.

Interview
Absolutely ridiculous! I applied online, was first seemingly eliminated, then received a questionnaire, which I easily completed, then 2 zoom interviews, followed by absurd, ever increasing requests for more and more references. For a "contractor" (quotes because he still wants you full time and exclusively, just doesn't want to pay any sort of benefits) position that pays well below expectations. Endless pressing for "KPIs", then wanted to meet the next day to further discuss the exact same things, while ignoring the suggestions made to move the company forward. Weird obsession with everybody scamming him, while being fairly opaque, himself.

Question 1
KPIs, annual revenue, lots of obsessing about work history, obsessed with outdated statistics he seems to have found in some old article
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at JLClosets (Boca Raton, FL) in Sep 2022
Interview
This was by far one of the most weird and condescending interviews I've ever been on in my entire life. As I walk in everyone has a cold standoffish energy. I do the interview and it seems like the owner doesn't even want me there. He then tells me how he doesn't believe I'm qualified for the job, mind you they contacted me I didn't even apply. To give context that may be relevant. I am African-American and I look a lot younger than I am. They then proceed to give me multiple timed IQ tests.
The guy preparing the test leaves the door open with distractions and repeatedly walks in the room while I'm taking the test to talk to me. All things considered, I scored way above average probably to their surprise. It begins to rain and as I'm leaving one of the employees says sarcastically "stay dry". I never received a call back either way, not that I would work for them anyway. Apparently multiple people have left the company due to the owner's condescending attitude and I'm not surprised
