I went through a pretty straightforward video interview and a numerical test.
The assessment centre was so exhausting but was not bad overall. You get to meet investment managers and equity research analysts.
I thought everything went decent, not too great, not too bad.
The feedback was "we liked him, he doesn't need to change anything moving forward, he was very good." This is what they told me but they still didn't give me an offer.
I was also promised travel expenses which I haven't received even though I chased about 3 times.
Companies like this need to respect the time and effort put into these assessment centres by potential employees. It is absolutely exhausting, the assessment centre was from 8:30 am to 5:45 pm. You basically work for them for the whole day for free for a chance at an average paid job.
All you get in return is a big fat NO with non-satisfactory feedback. What a joke.
