I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at J. Crew (Naples, FL) in Apr 2012
Interview
I applied in person, by walking into the store and handing them my application. The store was hiring, so I didn't just randomly hand it in. A few days later (around 3 days), I got a call from the store's manager who wanted a one on one interview. The questions asked were pretty standard for a retail job; specifying in how I would handle myself in a tricky situation. I was also asked about my style and what I wear on a daily basis. A couple of days later I was called and offered the position.
