I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at J. Crew (Seattle, WA) in Oct 2014
Interview
Interview was about as easygoing as interviews can get. The woman who interviewed me was easy to talk to. I dressed up in black slacks, a blouse, and heels but felt appropriately dressed. I was asked all the basic interview questions, such as my previous work experience and reasons why I wanted to work at J. Crew.

Because it was at a retail store, I was asked to name a celebrity who's style I admired.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at J. Crew (Grand Prairie, TX)
Interview
Lovely interview with the then assistant manager. Just connect showing your bubbly personality and talk maturely about your former job experience.
It ran for about 30-35 mins yet felt as if time flew by due to great conversation.
Great retail job. Requires alot of connecting with customers, even styling them in the fit rooms. But also remember EVERYONES EXPERIENCE is different
Easy, Basic Questions with the store manager. Just ask about previous experience and your availability. Why you want to work there. Met with the store manager and asked questions outside of the store.
the interview was entirely behavioral and very casual/conversational. mostly just how you would handle customer interactions and selling the credit card. i would highly recommend working there and interviewing. very similar to other retail interviews.
