I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Irish Manufacturing Research in Oct 2025
Interview
The interview process at IMR was disorganized and marked by a lack of communication. After completing the interview stages and sending multiple follow-up and reflection emails, I received no response or acknowledgment for several weeks. The only message I eventually received was a generic rejection email, without any feedback or explanation. Such prolonged silence and disregard for candidate communication reflect a serious lack of professionalism and respect. Ghosting candidates after interviews creates a poor impression of the organization’s culture and undermines its credibility.

questions regarding the strategy of the organizations, and tech questions targeted to the role
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Irish Manufacturing Research (Rathcoole) in May 2025
Interview
The interview process was straightforward and as you would expect. A recruiter prompted me to apply on LinkedIn, and I was contacted within about 1-2 weeks of applying. There was a short call with a recruiter, which was primarily to set up an interview. I attended a 60min interview 1 week later with the HR Manager and the CFO. It was a competency based interview. The interviewers were nice and outlined how the process would go. 6 days after my interview, I reached out to the recruiter to thank her and the interviewers and to seek an update on my application. I received a response indicating the process was still underway and I was advised to await further contact from IMR. 2 weeks later I had not heard anything back, so I again reached out to the recruiter who only at that point told me they would not be continuing with my application. I requested feedback and was ghosted by the recruiter. I would have appreciated a response (even if it was one that advised me they don't provide feedback), rather than being ignored after dedicating time to the process.

Interview
First of all there's a complete transparency about the salary, up front, even prior any interview, which I really appreciate. After I had to complete a graphic test and a single interview round. The team of people that I met were extremely friendly and the questions were all about examples of real situations that could occur in a workplace.
