It's always challenging to go back a year and try to address issues with our recruiting process. I can say, it's always a work in progress because we are constantly looking for improvement. That said, our philosophy is to understand the entire person during the process. We believe that people truly are greater than the sum of their resume skills and experiences. We want to know why they enjoy the staffing industry, understand what motivates them ( both positively and negatively) and why they fit here (because a great match needs to work both ways). I will say, sometimes the office is a bit quieter than I like but the trade off of giving our employees the opportunity to work from is worth it. As for the interview questions being borderline discriminatory, I find it hard to believe. However, I am always open to discussing your experience, addressing your concerns and having the opportunity to make the process better.
