      Interview

First interview with HR. Second interview with an engineer for around an hour (mostly technical questions). Generally, there is supposed to be a third round of interviews on-campus if I passed the second round, but I could not proceed forward with the rest of the interviews due to COVID.

Questions were mainly regarding FPGAs, any projects I did with FPGAs, and questions about Verilog.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Intel Corporation (San Jose, CA) in Oct 2018

      Interview

This was for an interview to be in the Intel-PSG Rotation Program. About a month before hand, I had a phone interview with the main head of the program, which was a pleasant 30 min call. If saw fit, they would schedule an in-person interview. This is divided up between 5 people for about an hour with each person, each one representing a different aspect of asking you and getting to know you. Only one or two would really get into a technical questions, still in a semi-casual environment. Overall, along with communications in arranging the interviews, they were very able to make the interview as least stressful and intimidating as possible. Still, best to be ready on your material.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Most questions were personal and about who you are. Some questions, based on the person interviewing, would be about basic software Verilog questions, based on what job and expertise you are coming to them with.
