I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Insight Global (San Diego, CA) in Nov 2011
Interview
The interveiw process moved quickly! I met a lot of different people and got an inside look of the office where I would be working. I was first contacted by an internal recruiter who took me through a phone screen. From there, I was scheduled for an in office meeting where I met with two senior Account Managers. The interview process is very social and personality based, Insight Global looks for the right type of people to fit within a certain culture and I just needed to prove that I was motivated and ready to take on the position. After the panel interview I was scheduled for a lunch interview where I met for a lunch meeting with the sales manager, and I was scheduled for one last in office meeting where I was extended the job offer.
I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Insight Global in Apr 2015
Interview
I submitted an application and was contacted by a corporate recruiter immediately after applying. We spoke on the phone for about 20 minutes and she asked me some questions while also telling me about the company. She then told me she wanted to schedule me for an in person interview at the DC office. I ended up declining after I heard some other reviews about the company. When I told her I wouldn't be continuing, she was very rude and angry.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Insight Global (Washington, DC) in Feb 2015
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter who found me on LinkedIn. She gave me a lot of recommendations on what to say in my first on sight interview, which was almost too scripted and trained. I got asked to a second interview which consisted of a lunch with the office's high executives. After the second interview I didn't hear back from the ever again. They also crossed the professional line with their questions on the second interview, asking very personal questions that regarded drinking and partying.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Do you participate in the party culture in your school?
Such a horrible processes. The people seemed friendly at first. During the interview the manager had to constantly check his phone. I ended up walking out because would never want to work for a company like that. Extremely rude! I have heard from many people that managers will constantly check their phones during an interview. If that is a company you want to work for the go for it. I would rather work for a place where I am treated with respect.
