Called to schedule an interview via zoom.
TLDR: all their job listings are actually sales positions for Door-2-Door sales of Fios packages. They stretch the truth about the positions to funnel you into a sales position for their Multi-level marketing structure (legal pyramid scheme).
The beginning of the interview was absolutely bizarre. At first when I joined I thought i was let into another interview because the interviewer and other “candidate” were already talking. I was then told it was a group interview and we were asked the same basic questions back and forth. The other candidate also happened to graduate from the same school as me and live in the next town over from me after I gave my answers. It soon became apparent how extremely over qualified this person was for an entry level position. They apparently owned their own marketing company and were stepping aside to consult their business while they got another full time marking job. I’d bet good money that the other person was a plant to make me feel like my decent qualifications seem less then what their looking for. After answering a question about social media the interviewer said that they would put them in touch with their “social media department” and have them setup a new interview.
After they left it became a 1-on-1 interview. I was then asked questions to build a connection like what I like to do in my free time etc. I was then pitched the exact same script as another company I interviewed with where they start their people out at an entry level to have them grow and fast track to management positions. Then he finally got to what the position actually is which is going to their “targeted” and “researched” market (meaning door to door) and selling Fios internet packages. It’s not until you “move up” that you become a “coordinator”.
If you like sales based income then this is for you but if not they steer clear from this place
