I interviewed at Idealist Consulting (Portland, OR)
Interview
Interviews were looking for very different skills than listed on the job description. Sounds like they are focused on sales skills and pitching NPSF to clients for every role. Otherwise they were extremely friendly.
I applied through other source. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Idealist Consulting (Portland, OR) in Jul 2024
Interview
The interview process was: Multiple panel-style interviews after initial vetting call. After the panel interviews there was a work sample and reference check, then a panel interview with the executives at the company.

Question 1
Describe your experience with nonprofit organizations.
I applied online. I interviewed at Idealist Consulting in Mar 2024
Interview
Applied online and received an invitation to interview almost two months later.
Initial interview was with the COO. The conversation was relaxed, open and extremely positive, ending with a clear invitation to move forward in the process. The next day I received a request for a writing sample and more info on my salary expectations (the range was posted).
After submitting the sample and notes on compensation, I followed up a week and a half later when I hadn't received a response. Three business days later, I received a boilerplate rejection message -- "not a reflection of your abilities or potential" but deciding not to move forward with my candidacy.
