I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot (Cambridge, MA) in Oct 2021
Interview
Contrary to the "Values" of huspot the process was not at all transperant. Recruiter responses were really slow. Interview was scheduled for different team than I had applied but wasn't clarified/informed a day before the interview. The interviewers were very professional though. Was comfortable throughout the interview and got positive responses from all so the rejection was little confusing. Wasn't informed that I was not selected and only found out after multiple followups. Just got a generic reject email. Was expecting a feedback as they promised(and part of their code of conduct) but never heard back again.

Interview
Single exam no human interaction. The exam was like a college test, something completely unrelated to modern field work. Seemed a bit off base. Definitely didnt seem like a realistic approach to finding real humans to fit for a company.
