I have been working at HubSpot full-time

HubSpot is an amazing company that cares deeply about its customers and employees. Great culture, benefits, perks, colleagues, and mission.

This likely isn't true for other departments, but it's hard to find opportunities for career advancement as a CSS outside of Customer Success. It would be very sad to leave HubSpot but work as a CSS can be draining and it's not a role I see myself staying in long-term.

    Advice to Management

HubSpot has amazing management and senior leadership -- keep doing what you're doing! It would be great to see more diverse opportunities for career progressions however.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HubSpot in November 2017.

One 3h test to check if you know how to develop and one 2h30 call with a team, where you competences are checked from a architectural point and some code.

We're so excited to share that we're teaming up with Howard University to open a Center for Digital Business! We've had a long-standing relationship with Howard University with on-campus recruiting and through our Education Partner Program. We're committed to playing an active role in the development of the next generation of Black business leaders and we're excited to continue our partnership with one of the most prestigious HBCUs in the country.

  • We recently shared that we’re building a hybrid company where employees can choose where and how they work best, be it in an office, at home, or a mix of both. In a new video, members of our global remote community share what it’s like working remotely at HubSpot. (Spoiler alert: Remote employees can grow connections and careers just as much as anyone else!) Learn more about what a remote career at HubSpot looks like today.
