Interview
Had a Zoom interview where I asked questions related to some concerning Glassdoor reviews—none were addressed. The interviewer contradicted themselves multiple times and emphasized repeatedly that the company is a start-up seeking someone who can “travel cheaply.” The conversation ended with them saying, “We have a lot of people to talk to, most with more talent.” That comment alone spoke volumes. Hard to imagine how talent is fairly assessed in just 45 minutes and a resume. I recorded the call, so I know exactly what was said. That remark solidified my decision to walk away. Wishing the best to those who move forward with this company—but definitely not for me.

It was a 15-minute interview with the CEO of the company for a VP position, there is really not much more to say as we barely had time for introductions.
