I applied online. I interviewed at Health Note in Feb 2026
Interview
Saw a glimpse of this company and its future when I saw how lifeless my interviewer was. The interviewer was clearly disinterested. When it was time for me to ask questions I got the bare minimum responses. Dodged a bullet with this one.
I recently interviewed with an individual for this role, and I found the conversation lacked clarity regarding the responsibilities and expectations of the position. The discussion focused largely on how my skills could drive revenue, rather than providing a clear understanding of the organizational needs or the role’s objectives. Several questions I raised about the position were either unanswered or addressed only vaguely.
Additionally, the individual mentioned having no prior experience with patient access, which raised concerns about the interview process and the ability to provide guidance on this critical aspect of the role. While I have extensive experience working with startups and adapting to evolving environments, this interview stood out as one of the more concerning experiences due to the absence of a defined role and clear direction.
Although I am highly passionate and skilled in patient access, it became clear that, in its current structure, this position is likely to be marked by disorganization and operational chaos.

How can you make the patient access process easier?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Health Note in Jan 2023
Interview
I had three interviews that were scheduled fairly quickly: Recruiter, CEO (the hiring manager), and COO. I had good conversations with both the CEO and Recruiter. The COO spent quite a bit of time during our interview talking about himself, his past companies, and what he sold them for. I didn't have much time to talk about my qualifications. The COO was more focused on how I could help Health Note's investors rather than the employees.
